October 11-23, 2019 Egypt Tour Featuring Fred Salzman
If you have ever wanted to see Egypt in all it's splendor and glory, now is the time to take advantage of this amazing opportunity!
You will be visiting over a dozen sacred sites, staying at 5 Star hotels, cruising on the Nile River for 4 nights and enjoying the best local cuisine that Egypt has to offer! The proposed itinerary for this incredible journey is as follows:
Day 01 Saturday, October 11th Arrival Cairo
Please arrive at the Cairo Airport by 4 PM. We will have a representative inside the airport to greet you and assist you with obtaining your entry visa ($25.00 USD), through customs and transfer the fabulous Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa in Giza. We will meet in the lobby at 6 PM for an introductory meeting, followed by a Welcome Dinner at the hotel. Overnight Le Meridian Pyramids (D)
Day 02 Sunday, October 12th Giza Plateau
Breakfast Buffet is served from 6 AM – 10 AM at the Le Meridien. We will leave at 10 AM for our visit to the Giza Plateau. Please be ready to board the bus by 9:50 AM outside the front door of the lobby. We’ll drive the short distance to the Plateau’s entry and enjoy a day of exploring. Lunch will be served at approximately 2 PM at the Pyramid’s Restaurant. Afterwards we will visit a local perfumery to experience the fragrance of pure Egyptian Oils. Evening Lecture presented by Patricia Awyan from 6-8 PM. Overnight Le Meridien, Giza (B,L)
Day 03 Monday, October 13th Saqqara
After Breakfast we will leave at 9 AM for our exploration of the site of Saqqara, home of the Step Pyramid attributed to King Djoser. We will visit the newly opened ‘Pyramid of Unas’ where we will see the first pyramid texts. Afterwards we’ll visit the ‘Sound Healing Hospital’ next to the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Afterwards we will visit the Serapeum. We’ll have Lunch at the Saqqara Palm Club and then return to the hotel. Please pay your hotel bills this evening as we will be checking out before we leave in the morning. Overnight Le Meridian Pyramids. (B.L)
Day 04 Tuesday, October 14th Mother Mary’s Tree and afternoon Flight to Luxor Baggage must be placed outside your door at 8:00 AM. We will depart the hotel with our bags at 9:00 AM. Please be sure to have your breakfast before this. Please point out your bags to the luggage handlers so they can be placed on the bus-- before you board the bus! After an early buffet breakfast shared together, our motor coach will bring us to an area hidden in the midst of the bustling life of modern-day Heliopolis where we will find the peaceful sanctuary that houses Virgin’s Mary’s Tree and Well in Matariya. Here, according to legend, Mary stopped and rested under the shade of a sycamore tree with Joseph and the infant Jesus during their travels in Egypt 2000 years ago. This tree (also associated with Hathor and Nut) has become famous for inspiring spontaneous healings. After lunch, we’ll be transported to the Cairo Airport to board our flight to Luxor. Day 05 - Wednesday , October 15th - Temple of Hathor Dendera
Breakfast Buffet at the Hotel at your leisure before we meet in the lobby at 8:00 AM for our departure to Dendera. We will visit the incredible Temple of Hathor, a site that should have been listed as one of the ancient wonders of the world! Star maps depicted on the ceilings in this temple, and the replica of famous Dendera Zodiac (the original is displayed at the Louvre in Paris) point to the ancient origins of astrology and superior knowledge of our Solar System and its Cycles…and Cycles within Cycles. Hathor (Het-Hert), the Netert who personified motherhood, beauty, sexuality, love, joy, harmony, dance and music was often associated with the planet, Venus. She was known as the Lady of the Stars, and represented the nurturing solar food of the Sun’s rays, required for birth, growth and renewal. Lunch boxes will be prepared for us before we depart. Day 06 - Thursday , October 16th - Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon and Luxor Temple at Night Baggage must be placed outside your door at 6:30 AM. After breakfast we will meet in the lobby for our departure at 8:00 AM. Please point out your bags to the luggage handlers so they can be placed on the bus-- before you board! Then we’re off for our visits to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple, and Colossi of Memnon. We check into our rooms on the 5-star Alyssa Cruise, followed by lunch on board the cruise ship. Late afternoon shopping at Radwan followed by a visit to the Luxor temple at night. Overnight Alyssa Cruise (B,L,D)
Day 07 - Friday , October 17th - Karnak Temple and Sailing You’ll have the option to take an early morning flight over the West Bank in a Hot Air Balloon ($125.00 USD). After breakfast, the group will leave at 9 AM to visit Karnak Temple, where we will spend the entire morning. We will visit the powerful Chapel of Sekhmet, drive back to the boat, have lunch and begin sailing. Overnight Alyssa Nile Cruise (B,L,D)
Day 08 - Saturday, October 18th - Kom Ombo Morning and afternoon will be free to enjoy the amenities on the ship. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on board at times listed in the ship’s lobby. We’ll visit the Temples of Horus & Sobek at Kom Ombo in the late afternoon. There will be a ‘Galabeya party’ tonight. For those that wish to—we will dress up in local Egyptian style for dinner and enjoy the entertainment in the ship’s lounge. Evening free. Tonight, we’ll dock in Aswan. Alyssa Nile Cruise (B,L,D)
Day 09 - Sunday , October 19th - the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae temple of Isis and Optional Visit to Abu Simbel
Those that wish to take an optional early morning bus trip to Abu Simbel (cost: aprox.$125.00 USD– time of departure will be set in Aswan) will meet with the rest of the group for lunch on the cruise ship. After lunch, we’ll visit the Unfinished Obelisk at the Aswan Quarry and then take a motorboat to the enchanting Island of Philae to visit the powerful Temple of Isis. Dinner on the Cruise ship. Day 10 – Monday, October 20th - Elephantine Island and Flight back to Cairo Baggage must be placed outside your door at 8 AM. Please point out your bags to the luggage handlers so they can be placed on the bus-- before you board! We’ll take a felucca (Egyptian Sail Boat) at 9 AM to visit the Temple of Khnum on Elephantine Island. After lunch, we’ll will visit the Nubian Museum. We’ll leave for the airport in time to catch our flight back to Cairo at 7PM. Tonight we check into our rooms at the Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel. Overnight Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel Giza (B,L)
Day 11 – Tuesday, October 21st - Egyptian Museum Cairo We will board the bus at 9 AM for our visit to the Egyptian Museum. After exploring the wonders at the Egyptian Museum we’ll have lunch at the Pyramids Restaurant in Nazlet Saman, before checking into our rooms at the Le Meridien Airport Hotel. Dinner on your own. Day 12 – Wednesday, October 22nd - Private visit to the Great Pyramid with and Farewell Dinner. We will leave for our visit to the Giza Plateau at 11:00AM (please eat a large breakfast or have lunch before we leave. Private entry into the Great Pyramid. From 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Afterward we’ll have our Farewell Dinner at the Pyramids Restaurant in Nazlet El Saman. Overnight Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel Giza (B,L)
Day 13 – Thursday, October 23rd – Transfer to Airport for International flights home (B)

What is included in the investment is:
- All nightly accommodations during the 12 night journey at 5 Star hotels and Nile Cruise ship.
- All meals (B,L & D) reflected in the itinerary.
- All entrance fees to listed sites (2 are optional and will cost extra: Hot air balloon ride and Abu Simbel).
- Private time in Giza Pyramid with just our group.
- All local transportation from arrival to Cairo until our departure.
- Activations, downloads and/or healings performed by Karolee and Fred for all the sites we will visit.
- Conference calls prior to journey to discuss itinerary, Q&A and group healings before we arrive in Egypt.
- Travel tips for what to expect during your adventure.
What is NOT included is:
- $25 Visa fee to enter into Egypt.
- Personal expenses not listed on itinerary: souvenirs, spa services, snacks and other meals while at sites (our last Egypt tour we were free for our own dinner on 2 nights).
- Personal travel insurance.
- Optional excursions of Hot Air Ballon ride and Abu Simbel.
- Room service while at Hotels.
- Air transportation to and returning from Cairo Egypt. (Last year non-stop, roundtrip airfare from JFK to Cairo was @ $850). No promises on that this year;)
The investment will be @$4150 per person based on double occupancy. If seeking single occupancy plan on adding an additional $800. These are rough estimates as of now, with definitive amounts to be available by the end of February,
A non-refundable deposit of $1100 will be required by the end of May with the balance due by September 1.
